Today just after 12:00 Company 27 and EMS were alerted to Chambersburg Rd (Box 27-7) for the report of a motorcyclist vs a passenger vehicle.

LT27 arrived on scene reporting a motorcyclist down in the roadway, and assumed command. Due to the patients condition, air medical was launched to our nearby pre designated landing zone. RE27(w/4) arrived and began patient care and hazard mitigation. Fire police had route 30 shut down while crews worked. Brush 27 was alerted and handled the landing zone. A total of 9 BVFD responders assisted on this incident. Units operated for approximately 1 hour.
