Today, The Buchanan Valley Volunteer Fire Department received an Assistance to Firefighters Grant AFG) of $47,238. The AFG is a competitive grant for the entire 50 states administered by FEMA. This grant will allow the Volunteers at BVFD to replace all our pre-connected attack lines, all nozzles, LDH adapters and the purchase of water supply appliances.
