The Buchanan Valley Volunteer Fire Department is excited to announced that a contract has been signed with Glick Fire Apparatus for the build of a 2023 Ford Vengeant SandStorm Brush Truck (Brush 27). The unit will feature a 2023 Ford F550 4x4 Diesel Chassis, custom built body/tank/pump to fulfill the needs of our response area. It will carry a 200-gallon tank, 250 gallon per minute pump with a high-pressure option, a high-pressure hose reel, 1 dead load reel, ground sweeps and LED scene lighting. The new Brush 27 is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023. This would not be possible without the hard work of our membership, the long-range planning of our leadership, and the community for helping us sell-out all our fundraising events.
