September 27th-Demo- This evening BVFD Members traveled to The Village of Laurel Run to review the new fire alarm system at The Village of Laurel Run Apartments 6361 Chambersburg Road. Members also got a chance to walk through the new houses being constructed. After a short photo op at the Totem Pole Playhouse and a visit of a friend, BVFD Members returned to the station and cleaned up after a week of flooding.
September 18th-Attention- All BVFD Members the Gear Dryer is now in service. Any questions contact Chief 27, Thank You to all the BVFD Members who made this project possible. September 18th-Box Alarm- At 11:22 hours BVFD was alerted for the mobile home fire in Franklin County Box 7-5 848 Black Gap Road. ET27 handled the call and after arriving on location the crew assisted in overhaul operations and then was placed in service shortly after.

September 17th-Crab Leg Feed- Thank you to all who came out to the Crab Leg Feed tonight, another great crowd. Our next Feed is a Seafood Feast on October 15,2011, get your tickets early because they are already going fast. September 16th-AFA- At 00:09 hours BVFD was alerted for an AFA in Special Box 27-12 The Village of Laurel Run Apartments 6361 Chambersburg Road. ET27 and the Asst. Chief and E27 handled the call,after arrival Asst. 27 held the box to Co.27 after finding a malfunctioning alarm. After a check of the entire building Asst. 27 placed the box in service. September 15th-Transfer- This evening BVFD participated in the Biglerville Fall Fest Fireman's Parade. BVFD brought home 1st Place ET/Tanker, and 2nd Place Brush. After the parade ET27 stuck around and covered Biglerville's (Adams County Co.6) First Due while there member's tended to the festivities. No calls were handled and BVFD would like to thank the 6th Cavalry for their wonderful hospitality. September 11,2001
September 11th-Transfer- Today BVFD transferred E27 to Franklin County Co.1 Headquarters Station. No Calls were handled while on the transfer. September 10th-Box Alarm- At 16:35 hours BVFD was alerted for the house fire in Franklin County Box 7-5 1821 Black Gap Rd. ET27 went en route and after arriving on location was advised to stage. Franklin Command 7 reduced the box and placed ET27 in service. September 8th-Box Alarm- At 18:26 hours BVFD was alerted for the house fire in Franklin County Box 5-04 111 S Main St Mont Alto Boro. ET27 and the Chief handled the call, ET27 was placed in service while en-route. September 8th-Neighbors Helping Neighbors- For the past couple of days the East Side of Adams County has received a substantial amount of rain causing wide spread flooding. This morning BVFD Members loaded up in SU-27 and headed east to Adams County Co.29 (SAVES) area to assist in pumping basements. After Chief 29 cleared SU-27 from his area SU-27 was requested to York County Hanover Boro to assist with flooded basements. After a day of pumping basements SU-27 returned home to "THE VALLEY". Any questions direct them to Chief 27. September 1st-Congradulations- BVFD would like to send out a job well done to JR Firefighter Courtney Erikson on passing her EMT Course and also to Firefighter Joe Diaz on passing the Firefighter I course.
