Jan. 29th- Engine 27 was dispatched for an engine transfer to Bonneauville Fire Department. Engine 27 completed the transfer and was placed in service several hours later.

Jan. 21st- Buchanan Valley Fire Department is now starting a Sunday Dinners. This will be just like our Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner buffet style. The meal starts at 10:00 and ends at 2:00. Cost is $8.00 per person and children half off. The FIRST SUNDAY DINNER will be held on FEB. 28th. See you there. ________________________________________________________________________
Jan. 20th- MVC- Buchanan Valley was dispatched for a MVC in box 27-1, 200 Block Church Road around 6 pm. Deputy Chief 27 arrived on scene with heavy entrapment, two vehicles head on, roadway completely blocked. Fire police was dispatched to shut down Church Road, while a Landing Zone was dispatched to set up at the 200 Block Buchanan Valley Road. ET-27 arrived on scene along with Special Unit 27 to perform all extractions of both vehicles. One pt was then flown to York Trauma Center, while the other was transported to a local hospital. Engine 27 handled the Landing Zone. Box 27-1 was then placed in service, by command.

Jan. 16th- Buchanan Valley Fire Department held a Crab Leg Feed, and would like to Thank Everyone who attended our event. We had a good turn out. Once again Thanks For Supporting Buchanan Valley Fire Department. ________________________________________________________________________
Jan. 14th- Pictures Of Our New Brush- Today we received and update on our Brush Truck and how it is coming along. We look forward to backing it in Company 27 mid March. Looking Good So Far.

Jan. 10th- House Fire- Company 27 was dispatched to assist on a house fire in Adams box 7-4, bear mountain. Company 27 crew arrived on scene and assisted the over haul. Command 7 placed the box in service several hour later.

Jan. 9th- MVC- Company 27 was dispatched for a MVC on Buchanan Valley Road with fire and entrapment. Chief 27 arrived on scene advised one vehicle off the road way, wires down, with negative fire or entrapment. Pt was transported to the local hospital and the 27-1 box was placed in service.
