Sept. 26th- Electrical Fire- Engine company 27 was dispatched to Adams County box 4-2, 85 Orrtanna Road for a electrical fire with in a residence. Engine company 27 stage at the scene and command 4 placed the box in service.

Sept 25th - Gas in the house - @ 2109 Hours BVFD was dispatched to Box 4-2 for the reported gas leak in the structure. Company 4 arrived and had all units staging. BVFD cleared at 21:18

Sept 21st - Auto Fire - @ 07:53 Hours BVFD was dispatched to Box 27-5 for the reported auto fire. Units arrived on scene to find more then an auto. Units found a camper fully involved. After a short operation, units cleared.

Sept 20th - - @ 1928 Hours BVFD was dispatched to Box 5-3 for the reported structure fire. Units arrived on scene to find a greenhouse on fire next to the residence. ET 27 crew assisted with operation while the ET supplied Tower 5. Crews cleared @ 20:30.

Sept 19th - Big Drawing - Buchanan Valley Fire Department would like to congratulate all the winners of the 2009 Big Drawing. A special congratulation goes out to David Heflin the grand prize winner. Thank you to everyone who came and supported BVFD and BVR&GC. Hope to see you next year.

Sept 11th- BVFD held there fire extinguisher training class today at the Village of Laurel Run. This is a annual in-service we provide to our local nursing facility. Thanks to all the Valley members who helped. BVFD would also like to thank the staff and residence of VLR for the tasty cookies that gave to us in recognition of the service we provide to Buchanan Valley.

Sept 9th-BVFD responded to Pine Grove Rd for an auto accident. First arriving units found one vehicle into a tree. After investigation it was found that the accident was not recent and the occupant of the vehicle had already left the scene.

Sept 5th-BVFD set up a landing zone for Stat-12 at the quarters of Co. 27 at the request of Special Unit 27.

Sept 3rd- The Adam Cole Memorial was started today with the digging of the footers. The memorial will be located to the right of the building where the old sign stood. Thanks to Rick Elliott and John Miller's Masonry for there time so far on this project.
